Essential amenities, gathering areas, recreation, and civic structures will be located a short walk from every homesite. This allows residents to engage intimately with the North Carolina mountain flora and fauna and reduces the dependence on the automobile, which enriches our environment and the quality of life at Sky Carolina. A non-denominational chapel for quiet reflection, a fly-fishing hut for the outdoorsman, and a fire pit pavilion over the water of Sky Lakes are all places for friends and family to gather around and reconnect. Additional gathering amenities include meeting facilities, a playground, an outdoor kitchen pavilion, and helipads.
